NEW MODELS IN CULTURAL COVERAGE: A National Summit on Arts Journalism

The American University Museum is hosting a satellite webcast of the National Summit on Arts Journalism, Friday, October 2 from 12 to 4 pm in room 128 in the Katzen Arts Center.

Join cultural leaders, journalists, funders, artists, and media experts around the world in exploring the dynamic changes in the arts journalism field.

The summit, themed "New Models in Cultural Coverage", will present 5 juried projects, chosen based on their creative use of media to sustain the arts. These are followed by round table discussions where we at AU can participate in text chats or Twitter feeds, so don’t forget your cell phone!

Other satellite sites include: Columbia School of Journalism, the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Emerson College, CUNY, the Warhol Foundation, Singapore, London, and Zambia.

No registration is required, and you are able to come and go as you need.
